Mario Media was founded by Philip Whitehall for the launch of a new gaming network called XiiNet (Xiin in short). The music uploaded here are for Nintendo fans who want to easily find their favourite video game tunes. Of course, there are bigger sites out there which provide more, but we've created something that you can easily navigate.
Since Mario Media's launch on 1st July 2006, the aarchive has been slowly but steadily growing in size, and has been proven as a popular resource for people. As time goes by, we're hoping to expand what we offer at Mario Media.
Fact: Radio Nintendo is older than Mario Media. Some people think it's the other way round, but it isn't. Radio Nintendo has been aquired by Phil when the team was still at the old site (TheODL.com, no longer there). It's taken a while to get things working properly, but it eventually did. Now Radio Nintendo does weekly live shows and has the power to invite guests through VoIP.
It's only the beginning for Mario Media, so stick around!
